From the mouth of the Guadiana to that of Guadalquivir the Atlantic coast of Huelva evokes a past of History and Legend that extends through its spacious white sandy beaches framed by green pines.

Islantilla can be found between Isla Cristina and Lepe. The best beaches around Huelva are just in front of the Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel. Islantilla is a modern tourist destination with hotels, resorts, apartment complexes, restaurants, residential areas and sports facilities, a promenade, a commercial centre, green and recreational areas. There is a 27-hole golf club in Islantilla with beautiful sea views.

Islantilla is great for an active leisure vacation and perhaps is the area of Huelva which has the best tourist facilities.

Huelva Capital does not possess a beach and its waters are not safe to swim in. Punta Umbría is one of the main tourist places on the coast, very near the Capital. It has a small port, a maritime club and all types of water sports can be practised on its beaches.

Ayamonte, situated on the mouth of Guardina, has an important fishing port. Cheerful, active and very commercial. Among its monuments we can highlight the Parrish Church of "El Salvador" (XVc), that of Our Lady of "Angustias" (XVIc) and the Convents of St. Francis and St Clare.

Isla Canela beach has multiple canals, small lakes and a vey spacious beach, hotels, apartments, villas and luxury installations. There is a golf club.

Matalascañas, Near Rocío Hamlet it is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the National Park of Doñana.
