- The Natural Park Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, characterised by the abundance of their forest, can be found in the north of the province of huelva. Here we can find the production centre of the famous Serrano ham from Jabugo. Castles churches, hermitage and even a mosque bear witness to the religious traditions of the region and its people. The Grotto of the Wonders (La Gruta de las Maravillas) can be highlighted in Aracena, as well as different villages in the region which are in themselves points of great interest both for their landscape and their culture and monuments.

- Aracena (85 Km, 6.600 pop.): Centre of the region, Ruins of an ancient fortress; churches of Our Lady of Great Sorrow and Our Lady of the Assumption in the Plaza Alta (High Square). Principal attraction: the Grotto of Wonders with its stalactites and its stalagmites.

- Fuenteheridos (94 Km, 650 pop.) A picturesque village in the mountainous area, with the church of the Holy Spirit.

- Alájar (100km, 770 pop.) A village of Arabic origin, situated in beautiful countryside. the Baroque church of St. Mark. Beautiful views from the Arias Montana rock, refuge of the humanist philosopher of the same name. the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Angels can be found beside this.
